Saipan WWII Sites

American Memorial Park has informational waysides throughout Saipan at sites that help to tell the story of this critical aspect of WWII history. By visiting each site, you will travel from the island’s invasion beaches on the western side of Saipan, to the airport, up to the island’s highest point Mt. Tapochau, north to the cliffs, and to the camps where the indigenous Chamorros and Carolinians were held for two years following the battle.
