The oldest building at Carlisle Barracks, the Hessian Powder Magazine was reportedly built by Hessian prisoners of war during the American Revolution.

Thorpe Hall

Washington Hall

Built in 1884 and named in honor of George Washington, Washington Hall served as the Carlisle Federal Indian Boarding School hospital.
