  • The park store is located in the right back corner of the Visitor Center. The shelves line all walls and reach above an average person's height. The bookstore has an angled wall. This is an accessible space for wheelchairs.

  • The parking lot of the Hoskins Farmstead is located at 2200 New Garden Road. Your vehicle will descend down a short incline road into the parking lot. The two handicap parking lots are located on the left front side. The front of the parking lot has a sidewalk that you must step up onto. There is a long, graded path that you must walk to reach the Hoskins buildings. The buildings themselves are inaccessible to wheelchairs. There are four buildings: the Hoskins House, the Kitchen, the Barn, and the Blacksmith shop.

  • Begin your park visit at the visitor center. Here, you will find information on the park and the Battle of Guilford Courthouse through two interpretive movies and a museum. Rangers or volunteers at the information desk are glad to help you with answers and assistance. The Visitors Center is open 9:00AM - 5:00PM, Wednesday through Sunday except on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. The Visitor Center will also be open on federal holidays that occur on Monday and Tuesday.

  • Bike on the Tour Road
  • Experience the landscape of one of the pivotal battles of the Revolution. You can use the same tour stop points as the cars. Bikes are not permitted on the footpaths and Historic New Garden Road. The Tour Road is 2.25 miles long, looping around the park. You will begin in the Visitor Center parking lot, cross Old Battleground Road and continue through the park until you loop towards Old Battleground Road and New Garden Road.

  • There are 28 monuments at Guilford Courthouse National Military Park that commemorate the soldiers and commanders of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, as well as the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, local figures, and the founders of the park.

Driving Tour- Battle of Guilford Courthouse

The 8 stop driving tour will take you from one end of the park to the other. Each stop will discuss important events and individuals related to the battle that was fought on these grounds.

Hoskins Farm Audio Walking Tour

This short walking tour will guide you through the site of the Hoskins Farm. Joseph and Hannah Hoskins moved here during the American War of Independence. Fleeing Pennsylvania in the hopes of living far from the seat of war, they ironically ended up in the middle of the largest battle to be fought in the southern colonies. This tour will explain the role this farm played in the battle, as well as describe the day to day life of the Hoskins Family.

Monuments Tour

This non-linear tour will take you to see the 29 monuments and gravesites of Guilford Courthouse National Military Park. You will also learn about several monuments that have been removed, and about the history of the park and its evolution over time. The tour includes 14 stops that can be visited in any order. See the entire park or just visit the monuments you are most interested in. You can drive near most of the monuments but will need to park and leave your vehicle to reach each stop.

Walking Tour- Battle of Guilford Courthouse

This is a walking tour of the Guilford Courthouse battlefield. You will walk over 2 miles of the park, visiting crucial spots and learning how one of the most important battles of the American Revolution unfolded.
